One of the biggest off-Broadway and Broadway hits of all time, Godspell, based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew, is a whimsical, unique and contemporary view of Jesus Christ. Through a joyous celebration of music, mime comedy and slapstick, Godspell speaks to the passion of Jesus Christ, to teach love and joy in the hearts of people, rather than hate and sadness. It speaks of loving your neighbor, forgiveness, tolerance and celebration. Godspell calls on all modern musical influences, including Rock, Gospel, and Ragtime. FOR AGES FIVE AND UP.
