The Laguna Playhouse relies on donations — small and large — from generous individuals, companies and foundations to support the work we do in your community.

These donations, which make up about 25% of The Laguna Playhouse’s operating budget, support every aspect of staging world-class theatre. We hope you will take a moment and think about making a contribution to our Annual Fund or consider increasing the amount you have donated in the past.

In 2006, ticket revenues accounted for only 75% of the cost of maintaining a major theatre company for Orange County and operating important community and education projects.

In an effort to make The Laguna Playhouse as accessible as possible to everyone by keeping ticket prices affordable, we rely on charitable contributions for 25% of our operating income. Without it, we simply wouldn't be here and we wouldn’t be able to bring you the kind of high-quality performances, new play commissions and eclectic programming our community has come to enjoy. Your donation not only supports our award-winning stage production, it also goes toward our comprehensive education and outreach programs and allows us to provide special programs for students, teachers, seniors and military.
