SINGLE TICKETS FOR MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL® AND
SISTER’S CHRISTMAS CATECHISM GO ON SALE SUNDAY, JUNE 3

Menopause the Musical® runs July 10 – September 2;
Sister’s Christmas Catechism runs December 17 – 23

MAY 21, 2007 - LAGUNA BEACH, CALIFORNIA – Summer and winter are usually total opposites, but not when it comes to purchasing tickets to the summertime and holiday shows at The Laguna Playhouse.

Single tickets to both the summer-long engagement of the hit show Menopause the Musical® (July 10 – September 2) and the limited-run holiday favorite Sister’s Christmas Catechism (December 17 – 23) go on sale to the public on June 3, 2007.

Menopause the Musical® kicks off The Laguna Playhouse’s 2007-2008 season. The Laguna Playhouse has already sold more group tickets to this show than any other musical previously staged at the theatre, and now it’s time to offer single tickets to the general public. Tickets are $35 to $65 depending on date and seat location.

Sister’s Christmas Catechism is more than six months away, but it’s a non-subscription show and is limited to 10 performances. Based on the popularity of our previous productions of Late Nite Catechism and Sister’s Christmas Catechism, this show will sell out, so order your tickets soon! Tickets are $39 to $53 depending on day and seat location.

To order tickets, call our box office at (949) 497-2787, ext. 1, log on to www.lagunaplayhouse.com, or visit the Laguna Playhouse box office at 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach. A $4 per ticket handling fee is added to all phone and internet orders.

ABOUT MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL®
Imagine four women at a Bloomingdale’s lingerie sale with little in common besides night sweats, memory loss, chocolate binges, not enough sex, too much sex, and more! Inspired by a hot flash and a bottle of wine, Menopause The Musical® is a joyful celebration of women living through The Change. Featuring a parody of 25 re-lyricized classic Baby Boomer hits (“Puff the Magic Dragon” becomes “Puff, My God I’m Draggin’,” while “Staying Alive” is reworked as “Staying Awake”), the show has been a runaway success with both women and men ever since it opened at a tiny perfume shop-turned-theatre in Florida six years ago.

ABOUT SISTER’S CHRISTMAS CATECHISM
Think CSI: BETHLEHEM as Sister tackles the question that has been puzzling historians throughout the ages: What ever happened to the Magi's gold? Sister engages her audience to help solve the mystery through a forensic examination of the nativity scene. With a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye, Sister hunts under the manger and over camel humps in her quest for clues.
