Positions: TECHNICAL OVERHIRES
We are developing a list of experience technicians interested in working in a “temporary overhire” situation. We are looking for folks to work load ins and strike in the areas of carpentry, electrics and sound. If you are interested in the carpentry positions email Jim Ryan and if you are interested in the electrical or sound positions email Glenn Powell. We produce 11 shows a year and the turnaround time is short and happens every four to five weeks.
Positions: CARPENTERS
For scenic load in, construction and strike. Applicants should have experience working within large crews. Must be able to read and work from technical scenic drawings. Knowledge of stage carpentry and related tools a must. Rigging and/or welding skills a plus. A great opportunity for students to learn in a professional environment and supplement their income. Positions: SUBSCRIPTION SALES REPRESENTATIVES
The Laguna Playhouse seeks talented persons who love art and want a part time job. You are great at communicating over the phone. You can really get excited about theater and have a dynamite personality. If you are a retiree or a student this is a perfect opportunity. If you have these things you can make good money in a short amount of time. Eve/weekends 5-9pm M-Sat 20hrs +/week and some mornings if you are really good with day contacts.
